The summer of 2019 brought a new dimension to the Lambert Group. Following on from the development of its activities in the railway sector, the family group based in Vireux-Wallerand has launched Rail Europe Solutions. Read on to find out more.

Rail Europe Solutions upholds the commitments of the Lambert family group, the original founders of the Vireux-Wallerand sawmill. Rail Europe Solutions was created to represent all of the group’s activities in the railway sector. It now brings together four complementary French-Belgian production sites, all of which are already active within the Lambert group: CCB (wooden sleepers & railway equipment, in Brussels); Rail Europe (wooden sleepers, in Mariembourg); MFD, formerly known as Atelier Durieux (railway mechanics, junctions and switches, in Carnières); and Emofer (concrete products, in Conchil le Temple).

As a multi-trade player, our group gains in efficiency and offers the best possible service to our customers with a well-controlled manufacturing quality and products made exclusively in France or Belgium. In order to support this restructuring process, Rail Europe Solutions has stepped up its human resources policy and recruited highly qualified personnel for a range of key positions, from production and logistics to administrative and accounting management and sales engineering. Our in-depth knowledge and the technical dimension of our activities are essential to respond effectively to our customers’ needs and to be competitive in terms of our offers. Our aim is to provide the right product at the right price.
