With RES CCB obtaining a Platinum rating, RES Emofer has now been awarded the Gold

Since the very beginning, the Rail Europe Solutions Group and its various entities have always been mindful of their duties and responsibilities. Our CSR approach, which has been in place for several years now, is essential for effectively addressing environmental, social and societal issues. The commitments and developments we have made in these areas have positioned us as a company that is fully committed to all those involved in the railway sector.

This award recognises us as one of the most environmentally, socially and ethically responsible companies in the sector, and is a testament to the hard work of our teams at all levels.

The results are impressive and we are particularly proud of them!

The overall EcoVadis score (0-100) reflects the quality of the company’s CSR management system at the time of the assessment
EcoVadis CSR ratings are based on the percentile ranking of our company’s EcoVadis score plus a minimum score in four areas: environment, labour & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

The criteria for the scorecards published as of 1 January 2020 are as follows:

Platinum – Top 1% (overall score of between 73 and 100)
Gold – Top 5% (overall score of between 66 and 72)
Silver – Top 25 % (overall score of between 54 and 65)
Bronze – Top 50% (overall score of between 45 and 53)

New blanket purchase agreements signed in France

This summer, Rail Europe Solutions had the great pleasure of signing two new blanket purchase agreements with the Chemins de Fer de Corse (CFC) in France. Around 10,000 sleepers, 500 timbers, 50,000 sleeper screws and various fasteners will be delivered over a period of 36 months.

The Unecto (national tourist trains and train museums federation of France) congress was held from 14 to 16 November 2019 in Pontarlier, Doubs, and was a key moment for Rail Europe Solutions and its customers.
